This famous line from Mirza Ghalib aptly sums up the sentiments of anyone who has lived in Delhi. ‘I asked my soul: What is Delhi? She replied: The world is the body and Delhi its life!’

Delhi is a fascinating amalgamation of the old and the new. On one hand, you see remnants of ancient India,  Moghul architecture and colonial buildings while on the other hand, modern structures to service the needs of the present times.

Any tourist who visits India’s capital will find it impossible to cover the entire city in a few days. It will take at least a few trips to get a complete taste of the place.

Nevertheless, here are a few must-visit places. One can start exploring the city by visiting Old Delhi. Even today, the place retains the charms of an ancient capital. Built by Shahjahan, the Red Fort was constructed at the peak of the Mughal dynasty’s power. The last emperor who lived here was Bahadur Shah Zafar who was later exiled to Burma after the British took control. Even today streams of visitors come here to enjoy its beautiful red sandstone architecture. During the evenings, the sight-and sound show is a fascinating experience.

Just close-by is the Jama Masjid,  one of the largest mosques in India. There are three domes on the terrace which are surrounded by the two minarets while its courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 persons. Another attraction here is the famous Chandni Chowk. This is one of the oldest markets in Delhi and has many famous shops selling almost everything including books, clothing, electronic, consumer goods, shoes and leather goods. Designed by Shahjahan’s daughter Jahan Ara, Chandni Chowk has many beautiful havelis.

The first is escalation. We wanted to prove that Marikina shoemaking can still be relevant and fit for the modern upscale market. For the price point of our products, we are creating a higher value for the Cheap Nike The 10 Air Force 1 client in terms of styling, fit, and comfort as compared to other foreign and local brands. By doing this, our goal is not to drag the market down but to pull the micro scale operations up.

We wanted to prove that local shoemakers can produce quality footwear while having a price that is fair to the Cheap Balenciaga Triple S workshop, it’s craftsmen, and the client. By having stylish and quality products in the market, other smaller workshops will be enticed to follow suit as they will see that the business model is more efficient in creating rewards and opportunities
